London, 20th May 2019 – In-transit programmatic technology startup Inadvia has appointed Ryan Afshar to take on the role of Global Head of Commercial, based at their London head office.
Inadvia, which enables the programmatic buying of video advertising on aircraft, trains, coaches and cruise ships, counts some of the world biggest on-board entertainment and connectivity providers as their partners.
Afshar joins from Amobee (previously Videology) where he led the company’s supply-side platform business in EMEA, working with broadcasters and publishers to help them maximise monetisation of their premium video inventory.
Afshar will be responsible for working with brands, agencies and DSPs to provide access to this new and growing source of data-enabled premium in-transit video inventory.

Prior to Amobee, Afshar developed digital businesses at Telefonica Digital, Time Inc and Discovery Networks.
